Open Source and Free Software Concepts Implemented in Publication of Academic Research

Abstract
This paper aims to point the importance of Open Access, Open Source and Free Software in academic research and publication. Not being known by many, the differences between the concepts exists and their creators want them to be public. There are presented as well international catalogues and directories of open access research, and some Romanian journals are described as example.
