A New Discrete Akash Distribution with Application in Biological Science

Abstract
In this paper, a new discrete Akash Distribution, a discrete analogue of continuous Akash distribution, using survival function approach of discretization has been proposed and investigated. Its moments and moments based measures including coefficients of variation; skewness, kurtosis and index of dispersion have been obtained and discussed. The method of moment and the method of maximum likelihood have been discussed for the estimation of parameter. An application of the distribution has been discussed with a real count data from biological science.
